Multi-BRIT nominated, and multi-platinum singer-songwriter Calum Scott announces a one-off headline show: The Songbook So Far at the iconic Eventim Apollo, London on 12 March 2024.
Calum says: “Since I brought my ‘Bridges World Tour’ to London late last year at the iconic Palladium, I have been pining to be back! I have done a few special shows in London, my last one in 2018 at Union Chapel and that really was unique for me, but I have really grown as a man and as an artist in those five years. A lot has changed for me and that is directly reflected in my music, my performances but most importantly, my shows. I’m not going to give anything away; you’ll have to come see The Songbook So Far for yourself - you won’t regret it!”
With a 2023 BRIT nomination for the biggest dance song of 2022, “Where Are You Now” with Lost Frequencies, this year has already proven a milestone year in Scott’s career. Calum went on to work with GRAMMY®-nominated producer, DJ and global hitmaker Jax Jones to create the contagious, high-energy single, “Whistle” (76 million total streams so far), performing the track on ITV2’s Love Island and opening the BAFTA TV Awards.
Most recently, he collaborated with one of the most successful bands in British chart history, Take That, with the rework of their hit single, “Greatest Day”. Performing the track at the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle last month and sharing the stage with Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, The Songbook So Far promises to pay homage to his hits and a celebration of Scott’s glittering decade-long career so far.
The release of his critically acclaimed sophomore album, Bridges, in 2022 produced by the likes of eight-time GRAMMY Award®-winner Greg Kurstin (Paul McCartney, Elton John, Adele), is the follow up to his lauded multi-platinum 2018 debut Only Human, which landed at #1 in over 20 countries. Some of his biggest hits include “You Are The Reason”, the second most popular song for a first dance behind Ed Sheeran & Beyonce’s ‘Perfect’ duet according to The Sunday Times and 3x platinum certified and BRIT nominated “Dancing On My Own” which spent 15 weeks in the Top 10 and became one of the bestselling singles of 2016. He has since clocked up over 18 billion streams across his entire catalogue.
Calum has sold over 75,000 tickets worldwide across 64 shows in over 32 countries across the UK & Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania, South Africa, and South America between 2022-2023. He will perform several festivals and special performances this summer across Europe including Disneyland Paris for Pride and is confirmed to appear before multi-platinum and Best British Breakthrough-BRIT Award winner, Mika at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre in Bristol on 21 June 2023.
